LET’S DO THIS

Hey there! I’ve been behind the camera since high school, but it’s only recently that I’ve really honed in on what fires me up about photography. For me, it’s all about capturing those real, candid moments that are just as unique as the couples I’m working with. There’s something so special about those little, in-between moments—the laughs, the glances, the quiet ones that speak volumes. That’s what keeps me going in this industry and why I love what I do.

I just want to be a fly on the wall. I want to capture all the candid real moments as they happen. I’m not here for stiff, over-the-top poses. I’m here to document the genuine connection and raw emotion that make your story truly yours. If you're searching for a Portland elopement and wedding photographer who truly sees you, then say no more, I'm already cheering for you.

How it works when you book with me

After you send an inquiry, we can schedule a time to meet! We can connect via FaceTime or meet in person for coffee to ensure we're a good fit. We'll go over everything together, and I'll answer all of your questions!

If you decide to book with me (WOOO!), I will send you an electronic proposal that outlines your package details, payment schedule, and contract. To secure your date and make everything official, a 33% retainer is due when you sign the contract. This retainer ensures your wedding day is booked and the date is reserved on my calendar!

Let’s Start Planning<3

Where to start with starting to plan my Oregon wedding?

Before getting lost in the details, take a moment to sit down together and get clear on the big-picture pieces of your day:

• What does your overall wedding budget look like?
• Which vendors matter most to you?
• What Oregon wedding locations match the vibe you’re dreaming up?
• What season feels right?
• And finally—lock in a date.

Once those core pieces start to fall into place, the rest tends to feel a whole lot easier.

A quick logistical note: most traditional wedding venues don’t require permits the way outdoor elopement locations do, but you will need an Oregon marriage license. Each county has its own rules and waiting periods, so it’s worth checking early to keep things stress-free.

As your Portland, Oregon wedding photographer, I’m here to guide you through timelines, lighting, and what to expect throughout the day—so everything flows smoothly from start to finish.

What an Oregon Wedding might look like

An Oregon wedding can take so many forms—from a cozy mountain lodge to a modern Portland warehouse or a vineyard tucked into rolling hills. While weddings often include your closest family and friends, they still leave plenty of room for intention, blending celebration, ceremony, and connection in a way that feels true to you. That’s the beauty of getting married in Oregon: you can shape the day around what matters most—the setting, the people, the atmosphere, and the memories you want to carry with you. I’ve photographed weddings in all kinds of places, and no two ever feel the same. The light, the location, and the people you love come together to tell your story in a way that’s uniquely yours, every single time.

A couple holding hands while walking along the Oregon Coast.
From our engagements 6 years ago to our first baby shoot to our most recent maternity and family shoot, we always come back to Sarah. She makes us feel comfortable, is affordable and goes way above and beyond in terms of both quantity and quality of photos. She seamlessly is able to help her clients feel comfortable while taking control and providing clear directions with large groups—something I have seen many “wedding photographers” fail miserably at. Sarah wastes no time and makes sure to set expectations beforehand so she can get every shot you dream of. I am so looking forward to having her take our big family reunion photos in a few months. Thank you, Sarah!!

A Wedding ceremony at The Castaway Portland celebrated a Bride and Groom as they walk down the aisle surrounded by all their loved ones and friends.
Sarah took our engagement photos and wedding photos. We couldn’t be happier. she is a true professional and was able to handle the insanely long and complicated shot I crafter for her and while I hate being in front of the camera, Sarah made me feel confident and comfortable throughout the day

She traveled to my wedding in Miami and captured so many beautiful moments. We’ve also one on several hiking trips together and the photos she took are some of my favorite photos ever. She always knows the vibe

Sarah is a legendary photographer! I can’t recommend her enough. I’m not naturally comfortable in front of the camera but Sarah makes me feel so much more comfortable. She’s easygoing and captures so many sweet candid moments. She’s photographed my family at home and my chaotic wedding ceremony at the beach on a crazy windy morning and did both beautifully. Our photos are something that we will cherish forever.
